Choose who competes in each stage
Now that leagues run week to week, the group admin can leave someone out of a single stage table. They keep playing and keep scoring in the overall table — they just don't appear in that one.
How it works
The admin decides. Only the group owner or a co-admin can do it. Nobody takes themselves — or anyone else — out on their own.
It's per stage, not per season. Leave someone out of whichever stage you want and they are back in the next one. Every stage is decided on its own.
One tap undoes it. The same button puts them back in the table. Get it wrong and nothing breaks.
Two lists, side by side. The stage table splits in two — those competing and those who aren't — each with its own count. You can see at a glance who is in.
The winner comes from those competing. The stage crown goes to someone who is in.
Positions renumber themselves. No gaps and no repeated numbers — the table stays clean.
Whoever is out keeps playing
It is not a ban and it is not a pause. They still predict every match, their correct picks still count and their points are kept. The only thing that changes is that this stage does not list them.
💡 Put them back in later and their points for that stage are still there. Nothing is lost along the way.
The overall table is untouched
Sitting out a stage does not affect the season standings. Everything still adds up there, stage after stage, exactly as before.
💡 They are two different tables: the stage one starts from zero every week, the overall one has been adding up since the first match.
What it is for
Someone goes travelling, joins the group mid-season, or simply cannot keep up this week. Instead of leaving a row on zero that puts everyone else off, that person drops out of that stage's table and comes back whenever they want.
💡 It also works for latecomers: leave them out of the stages already played and they compete from the next one on equal terms.
A league runs for nine months and nobody is around for all thirty-eight weekends. With this, missing one stage stops spoiling anybody's table.
